I just got one of the Envy inner E2 rings and I was currious if anyone else on here has mounted one up?
From what I can see I am going to need some spacers to push it out far enough to allow the chain to pass by. Do they make these spacers?

spacers and longer bolts can be had at your lbs or buddies house.

Yup you will need some spacers and Long Bolts. I am running a envy bash as well and use 3 small, normal sized washers. Runs perfect.

i just went through setting up the same thing except with a granny ring aswell to manually shift into.......works great once you get all you need.......i also modified my inner E to be like the inner E2, and mount the ring with spacers directly to the middle chainring....and then mount the granny with spacers........it was a pain but it works good. sry if that didnt make any sense at all...........

I got it on the bike now, had to use spacers on the inner e2 to space it out from the middle ring then spaced the granny out with more spacers. Kind of screws with the chainline though, I am only able to get like the far right four gears on my cassete when I am in the big ring (middle on a three ring bike) and only get about the top three or four when I am in the granny. How is it working on everyone elses rides? Do i need to adjust the spacers size? Are you running it so the tapperd side (the logo side) of the guard is towards your granny or vice verssa?
Thank god I can loose the grip shift!!!!

3 washers per hole, so 15 for 5 bolt and 12 for 4 bolt :)

There was a review that showed this setup. I did a quick scan for it, but couldn't find it. The review was of a bike, and the bike had an outer bash ring, chain ring, middle bash ring, and a granny gear. I think corey@nsmb.com or cam@nsmb.com did the review.

I decided to put the chameleon-like qualities of X-Type to the test by trying something relatively new. Apparently the folks at the Surrey Bike Zone have been using the Envy Double E inner ring to set bikes up to run a dual rockring system as well as a granny ring. The Double E is made to mount either on the inner chainring circle or the outer one. The mechanics in Surrey were removing the tabs that allow inner ring mounting to make space for a granny. Envy got word of this and they began making the Double E2 which has no inner tabs.
