On behalf of John Henry's, Shimano, Hoots Jay, and myself (Darren Butler), I would like to thank all the riders and volunteeers who came out to the Shimano Backyard Jam.
The riders made the show what it was, and I want to say thanks. We could not have put on a show like that without the talent and energy we had. All of the show sponsors were really impressed with the professionalism of all of you, and it was noted. These are the kinds of things that will allow our sport to grow positively. Shimano is now in full support of all you baggy-pants tricksters!
We would love to open the jam up to everyone, but I think you could understand the logistics of this. Even having 24 riders made for a long day. Our time will come for a true OPEN jam, we want it as much as you do!!
Thanks again for the professionalism, the enthusiam with the kids, the patience in dealing with Hooty and myself, and of course, THANK YOU for putting on such a killer show!
You made John Henry's 60th birthday the best he's ever had!!
Thank you.
See you next year!!
