congrats to hannah who is probably the first woman on earth backflipping a mtn bike,I certainly havent heard of any others...I know some folks think backflips arent all that and what not , but having never done one they look hard to me...
so again mad props hannah.

I didn't see her live but I did see her pics and all I can say is WOW! I have never, ever seen a female pull off a bike-move like that before.

I can't believe she pulled off a backflip. She's got more gonads that I do!

Her real achievement is doing backfilps at will in front of a big crowd on an unfamilliar jump in a contest which is otherwise all testosterone laden boys. If you've ever worked with or coached women in sports like ours, you will understand how difficult that is. It's much harder than doing such things for a video.

I've seen pics of her doing other dj tricks. I think she was at the Go Back to the Forest comp. I mean c'mon, you don't just go from nothing to backflips. Of course she has other tricks dialed.

I am very impressed by her. If I ever have a daughter, she's going be riding with my boys, and I hope she gets inspired by girls like Hannah.

I encourage everyone to go up to her and say Hi if you see her at your favourite riding spot...she's super friendly and doesn't have any attitude at all, and she smiles all the time, which is awesome! All girls should smile as much as she does...

I've met her a couple of times, she is really friendly, modest and chilled out, and ride a bike like no girl I've ever seen! :eek:
