I have the old hayes brakes (black) and I would like to put a bolt through them insted of the lil whatever it is. DO I need any bushings around this bolt to keep the wear down?

i beleive changing to bolts in teh first palce is the reason why u dont need those bushings....

dont make sence to use botls and then continue to use the bushings...

:???:

i wouldnt use em...

well id be insted of the metal on metal rub. because with the bolt there still will be play.. but with the bushing there is less, and also slows the wear down on the metal? I dunno my dad was explaining.. im just wondering how to do it

yea I'm pretty sure you just knock the pin out and put the bolt in
