My (Snowy) Backyard

7:24 am "Hey Ingrid we skiing this weekend"
"Um today looks nice its really sunny"

Skip ahead seven of the longest hours of school i can remeber and we were on our way up baldy. The first few hundred vert was a mudhole then we got to nice easy to climb hardpacked corn. The slog up started in pure sun and 50°s and ended in wind, rain and snow, the snow was hard pack corn very nice, very fun a little tree skiing and some weirdo bushwhacking and traversing, overall good skiing for a 5 minute drive from my house.
