Ok I have had a few people say that there in for Jan 12th on Dentist. Shovels or rakes if you have any. I will be at the bottom of the Dentist at 10. Let me know if you can make it.

I'll be there. We took a hike down Dentist today. Nice work you're doing there. Are you fixing just the lower half? I don't think there's much that can be done on the top part, it's just a rocky chute now.

is there anything especially wrong with loose rock?
maybe that pic is steeper than it looks, but i actually like to ride on loose rock, it gives a feel of urgent need for control

I'm gonna try to do the best I can with the top half maybe buff it up with some rock work and add some drainage, to try and stop the erosion from getting any worse. The top half can be a pretty gnarly section so I want to try and get it back to it's old glory.


ABout the loose rock, That pic doesn't do it justice that was probably the mildest of sections, and such a poor quality pic.
There is no urgency for control; cause you can't pick up speed, it's so rocky in sections. Softball sized rocks. over the past 6 or 7 years it's just gotten worse and worse, after alot of people have forgotten about it. It will be good again.

Great, now the wife's going to put me to work around the house. It's probably just as well, it downpoured all night, and now the fog has rolled in so thick I can't see 50 feet down the driveway. It would be pretty miserable up on the hill.
