Having a PINK BIKE!

I'm just debating to myself what message you are sending out by having a bike that's painted pink, such as.... "Everyone look at me, I'm the best and I want everyone to look at me and see how skilled I am", "I like to be different so I painted my bike pink", "I just plain like the clour pink", etc., etc.

What do you think having a pink bike is saying? Discuss.

I think you have to have a lot of self confidence to paint your bike pink, but at the same time have some mad skills if you don't want to get laughed at.

I think that so many people have done it to stand out that it's been over done to the point of being a trend, not a statement.

Kinda like piercings or tatoos.

maybe its why ppl paint there cars red? to be seen.. not to blend in and be just a after tought.. maybe they wanna stand out and be seen and noticed.. I painted my bike pink so IM not like all the other le toys.. I like to be diff in every way I can thats why PINK was the best color, also im just gay and like it in the ass

Actually...(psych major here)

Painting it pink is an anti-conformity thing. Consiously, or subconsiously, Pink is considered to be the "feminine" color by society. But those that characterize sex with a color, is a whole different story, LOL!

I would paint my bike pink...I had a pink car. It got me sponsors, and made my second car a CHEAP venture to modify. It does grab attention. But unless it looks good, color choice can be a mistake. I.E. if the bike is crap, and teh rider sucks....you're in the hurt locker...whereas if you're hot shit...people remember "That dude on the pink bike ROCKED!"

Odd colors spike the memory. Same would apply if somebody had a NEON GREEN or Neon color frame...you'de remember it......

I got pink for my bike because it stands out from every other color.. u can see yellows and bright reds on every banshee around.. and I wanted to be 1 of a kind also. thats why I got mine done
