Medium Demo 9 came in to the shop to day, it is sweet, a burly fuckin frame. No pics because it is still at the shop but i can say it is very pretty.
Doesn't feel too heavy realy, not even as bad as screams ive heald, but it is a heavy frame, 11.5 pounds without a shock.
I can not wait to get it built though, I have ordered most of the main parts, but i need to sell my orange before i can get the few parts i need left. I have no money :nolove:

If I remember correctly your young like around 17. Where do you get all this money for these bikes. You seem to get a new one every season and its always the latest and greatest. Do your parents pay for them or do you have a REAL job that you use all the money from towards your rides.
Just curious is all

Got summer jobs, but not a full time, i am 16 though. I have only had 3 fs bikes ever, this is the first bike i have got that is like a dream machine i built up from the begining, my orange was just evolved from a ac1 i got.
Anyway my parents probably pay for like 3/4ths of my bikes, but what can i say, it is sort of embarassing sometimes, but my dad rides and understands how much it costs, plus my family has got kinda loaded over the last 4 years. Disposable income i guess, anyway dont flame me please

hahah No need to worry man I was just curious. If my parents kicked in that much cash I would be in Heaven. My parents are well off but feel that I need to pay for my own stuff to appreciate it.
My hardtail in total cost me just over 3g's and Now I am in debt to Mastercard (My Parents that is) ;)
Anyways congrats on the sweet rides bro. If anyone flames I will punch them for you :)

Nothing wrong with having parents with a thick wallet that are willing to make their kids happy.
Anyone who flames is just jealous (that includes me :P )

The frame is so burly, the heatube is awesome, if you see it from above with any cups in it you will not worry about ovalizing it ever.
Plus i am getting a steel set for it :thepimp:
Anyway this is shameless but someone buy my orange!!!

lol...i wish my folks kicked in money..lol...i envy you..they have money but like a few others said they think you will apreciate it more if you buy it...lol...my mom rides and she got a better bike and all her gear in a day..it took me at least 2 years to get where she was for componetnts and gear...anyway hope you enjoy the frame...what is a demo 9 worth anyways?

dude, dont put a steelset in that bike! you will void the warrantee on the frame! i know this because i have a demo9 and a steelset, but luckily i checked with specialized before installing it! besides, it would be useless cause the headtube tapers in after about .75 of an inch.........if you want to hear this from the birdies mouth, email specialized tech support......
about the bike, it is awesome! so stable at any speed and loves the knarl! were you gonna get an x-works dorado? if so, i hate you :P
