Here is my old school Norco Rampage. I believe it is either a 1990 or 1991. Full XT

I still use the pedals and the front thumb shifter.

I am going to build it up again to near original spec just for the hell of it.

That is the stock paintjob. She was my pride and joy back in the day.

No Bio-pace, but I have a Bio-pace ring laying around if you want one. ;)

It will be pretty funny once I have it back together and going for a spin at the Woodlot. Anyone have any flourecent spandex I can borrow? :D

I'm not sure that spandex is something you should "borrow."

Gotta love the details: red cable housing and red toe straps to match the tiger stripe paint job.:D

Looks a lot like my Bigfoot (which does have biopace).

Those tires are original, no?

I am glad that somebody noticed the details. (matching cable housing and toe clip straps) I remember taking pride in details like that.

They are the original tires - they are Tioga of some sort or another.

These pictures were taken more than 10 years ago but as I said, I am going to try and re-assemble it as best I can to original spec.

Later,

Are those first-generation XT rapidfires? Or are they underbar thumbshifters?

Let's see some pics. I don't think I've seen pics of your Bigfoot, just the Marin.

The bike is at my Dad's place. The brakes are so bad they can't even stop me when riding uphill. Having a rear brake down by the bottom bracket is really, really bad for muddy trails.

My mistake - it's not a Bigfoot, it's a Bush Pilot.
