why does this RMX look so wrong?

Something about it jsut doesnt appeal to me. I am sure it is a sweet bike but this one looks weird. maybe too big.

its a size large, the smaller size actaully looks nice, i seen one in person i ncalgary and suprisingly i actaully liked it :cry:

The rmx pic......the front end is turned slightly to the left. But the pic is shot dead even to the stanchions....so the frame is going away from the pic angle. Looks longer.

Seat post way too high and it's not black.
The hub isn't black.

Hey, I beg to differ about the hub.....I know Rohloff because I ride Rohloff and this be a Rohloff......even has the Rohloff chain tensioner clearly visible in the pic. If you look closely the double shifter cables (running close together from the twister on the right side) is also clearly visible.

i think its because the traingles on the frame design are so large which might throw everything else off as well

The big chainwheel and small rear wheel throw everything off for me...it looks totally whacked.

I'd get a black Thomson post and run the integratedstem on the Shiver, but that doesn't bother me as for the way it looks in that pic.

man that thing is ugly(the first one) what's with the racer, nut killer selle TI saddle and the janky seatpost...Hub looks fugly, as does the 24 rear, bars look sooooooooo tall, and it looks like his Shivers legs are all the way down in the crowns...fugly to the max...that said, so what, If the kids happy with it, and he's out riding, I don't care...

OK, if it's a ROllohf, it's no longer fugly, it's dreamy, but it does look kinda funny on those RMX's, plus the size large frame is awkward looking too..
