I'm not bitching about people riding while I'm building. almost half the fun is talking to people while I'm working. but this is the second time this has happened.

the wall ride on Eagle is set up as a gap. you can't pull out early, you have to make it to the tranny or your hurtin. I have spiked down a pole running along the inside edge of the tranny. This is the second wednesday I have gone up the trail to see this pole torn out and tossed on the side of the trail. obviously so some one can ride the wall and pull off early. this time they went and found my tools and used the prybar to pull the pole out. they could have at least put the tools back the way they found them.

Look... if you cant ride the wall to the end, don't ride it. that pole is there for a reason, hence the 10 inch spikes holding it down. you know who you are.:censored:

That shows a complete lack of respect for the traibuilders and complete ignorance of the labor involved in maintaining a trail and building stunts.

Consider leaving a short, friendly message asking the perpetrators to lay off and go build/deconstruct their own handiwork, not yours.

there is nothing more annoying then kids wrecking something you built just so they can attepmt it. dirt jumps are by far the worst, if kids arnt throwing boards over top and wrecking the lips and trannys theyre taking out a section of your tranny t make the gap smaller. listen kids im all for encouraging progression but just hit shit and try and make it dont wreck it then go home and think youre good because you finally did a jump with a board over cross it. anyway theres all the biterness outta my system. wait no why would u wreck the wall ride on eagle that thing is mint, if you cant ride it dont.

I remember a time when trails were supposed to be beyond your abilities. cause this is one of the reasons for improving your riding abilities....maybe times have changed in some aspects.
if you were scared, you simply pulled yourself together to nail it....

sad that fello riders are behaving like that.
A built trail or stunt is there to be ridden, not destroyed. :(

So there is a sharp pointy stick in the tranny? Vietnam style:???:

No, I have used 10 inch spikes to hold the pole into position. It's running down the edge of the tranny to hold dirt in.

thats bullshit man whats the point of riding a wall straight into a tranny? that's no fun to me it looked good how it was. people who can't ride it shouldn't change what they didn't build.

I would be livid if someone did that, and might even resort to hiding in the bushes so i could jump out and give the perpetrators an earfull.

wow, that's a lot of work!

Put up a note. Leave your contact information. Tell him that you've put a lot of work into this structure and if he feels a need to alter it to at least show you the respect to talk to you first.

Then you can explain to him why it is the way it is.

We found an old cedar windfall, about 2' in diameter, clear, no knots, it was beautiful. Darryl was able to split perfect 2X10's out of it.

I'm going to put up a note the the contact information of the toe of my boot that's going to end up someone's ass when I find out who's moving the pole.

BTW the pole isn't in the same place as the pictures show. It cut's off the easy out, you have the ride the entire wall to hit the tranny.

What gets me too is when riders cut corners on switchbacks.

Just because you don't know how to pull a tailwhip or steer doesn't mean you have to drag everyone down to your level of crappiness.

That goes double for Sex Boy or C-Buster where the trail's natural. grrrrrrrr
