This is beyond dissapointing.

There is ONE contest out there that gives regular dudes like all of you a chance to show your skills and have a swing at the big time.

Everyone complains how the cycling industry doesn't do enough for riders, that sponsors are few and far between, etc.

Then riders (not implying it was someone here) go and mess up that SINGLE contest that gives their peers a chance.

It REALLY dissapoints me that people find it funny, and then go out of their way to get the vids and post them all over the internet. I think this is an embarassment and mtb'ers shooting themselves in the foot.

ONE group of first class companies step up for you and provide a killer contest with a very generous prize. Even the guys who don't get the final prize win, because they get exposure they would not otherwise receive.

Race Face should not have to have an unhackable contest page. They probably had a bit more faith in the mtb community than to waste resources they could otherwise pass on to you on their IT department.

Oh man Corey you took the words right out of my mouth. I wish I had been on line to nuke this early, not that it would have helped.
Kids like Ian worked their asses off making their vids and it was an exciting format, now ruined. I wouldn't be surprised it it ruins the whole contest and makes it less appealing to continue next year.
I am always blown away by people. Why is it that a few people are always able to ruin everything for everyone?

This thread should end here and now. I would really like to not see any posts on anyone's video that has yet to be posted by Raceface in Raceface's contest. Have some respect for these companies and most of all your fellow riders who deserve a lot more respect then this. Let's pretend this never happened and if you are one of the few who have some inside information, keep it to yourself.
