Fuckin bike is gone. Just went out to lend it to a friend a few minutes ago and it's gone from the group storage locker under a neighbouring residence. The University absolves themselves of all risk, and says that it's completely at owner's risk.
I have no idea how long it's been gone for, last time I checked on it was before the X-mas break.
I'm not sure if my house insurance can help, since I'm not living at home, and it wasn't stolen off my property. I think maybe since I've only been gone for 6 months, I may still be covered? A temporary residence or something? I'm getting my dad to look into it.
I am quite fucking pissed off.

From the summer... and just after I painted it.
Just got off the phone with campus security... they started a file on it, and will fax it to the Saanich police, but without the serial number that I completely forgot to record (everyone says to do it, but hey only OTHER people's bikes get stolen.. it never happens to YOU right? ) it's pretty bleak.
And the best part of all of this is, there's a possability the guy could be living in my building, on my floor, about 40 feet away. Apparently he stole someone else's bike before they moved into the building, then she recognized it after she did and he admitted to having cutters at one point and snagging it.
I will be the 4th person to get my bike stolen from the same motherfucking storage locker.

shitty deal man,
Say no to storage lockers, it's like a candy store for thieves.
I don't know how much that things worth but on the bright side at least it's not a big dually.

Good luck on acheiving some kind of positive result.

I don't really expect to get it back... methinks it's long gone.
Insurance could cover it, but there's a $500 deductable anyway, so it looks like I might just be investing in a new ride for summer. Bah.

Ahhh I remember you were so happy when you got your bike!
If you don't get it back, at least think of how awesome it is going to be to get a new one built up and to ride it! I'll keep an eye out but I'm way over here so I doubt I'll see it.
