It looks like i will be moving to Seattle Area.
I was just wondering if any of you live there, and what type of trails and jumps that are in the area.
I am not looking for Hardcore stuff, because i am pretty much a newbie.
Just a good newbie type trail to get used to shore type riding also some good Dirt Jumps to learn on would be great?
Any info?

Thanx in Advance.

woodland park (greenlake) jumps suck. there are much better jumps, especially for a newbie. jumping at woodland is like jumping on ramped clay...bad times.

seriously, shoot nick or myself a pm and we will gladly show you some trails to get your started...

You can watch Omar hitting up the Woodland (Greenlake) jumps.
Mind you, NSX 3 was filmed a few years back. Thpse jumps have not changed much @ all over the last 5-10 yrs. They are pretty intimidating for the faint at heart.
I think O_o and seand are talking about the same jumps...the Woodland Park jumps are directly south of Green Lake - next to the soccer fields. UNLESS there's other jumps that I've not been informed of? That would anger me.;)

David3 - Keep in touch once you're down here and us locals will get you started. There are plenty of BMX and skateparks around Seattle. There are no "legitimate" mountain-bike-parks as of yet. I find that amazingly odd. Good urban downtown and UW, for sure. Others know of more.

No shortage of epic singletrack here, either!
