Well,

I just got my renewal letter from my insurance company, and they are advising that my bikes have gone from Unlimited (which I paid a premium for) to $1,000.00 max.

So, I'm shopping for a new policy...need about $7K I figure. Anybody out there have a good, reasonably priced policy? If yes, please post contact info of your agent.

Thx.

Which is why I'm asking around to see what others have bought...comparing prices to my quotes.

Thanks Lee. i phoned janet just now, and seems she is the best price...over $100.00 less for just my bike...we'll see about the house, too.

My parents had their car broken into and a bunch of camping stuff swiped and those ladies were super quick in helping them out. I can't say enough how good they are.

Can I get just the bike insurance, or would my parents have to swap house insurance right now? Im about to get some 5/100 with the people my parents deal with.... :(

5/100 is standard....so it's not like you're paying OVER the standard or anything...just fyi.
Now....the extra insurance for the bling bikes is called a "rider" (O the irony:lol: )
You need an insurance policy for your home/contents or at least contents insurance as a renter...then you can add on the extra bike insurance. "Extra" is any bike over $1000 value.
If you're shopping around for a complete policy from scratch....it's not hard to find a policy that will insure you at 3/100 while getting a fairly priced "regular" policy.
