I heard the guy ate it big. I know it was awhile ago but I just heard about it a week or so ago... Anyone know exactly what happened? pics or vids? Or any news on his condition?

Last I heard, he was doing waaaaaaay better than he was last year. It was a scary, sketchy fall to say the least...cleared the tranny twice-over on a huge double. They had footage on some show up there after it happened (French-Canadian sportshow).


I could have sworn they showed that wreck in NWD IV as well...anybody?

The wreck in NWD IV is the same jump, and same type of crash, but it is a different rider...I think one of the Kona guys.

He hit the last jump in Quebec hard...and got bucked hard by the take off and went in head first at full tilt.

It was a pretty disturbing crash..something you only need to see once, if at all.

Word is he is doing a tremendous job at re-hab. He was in a coma for quite some time, but is doing well now.

Not sure on the plans for his riding in the future, but that should take a back seat to his health for sure.

and for all the helmet peeps out there..........he was wearing a Moto helmet, had he been in a MTB FF he might be done for.......the ol Troy Lee is lookin mighty thin.....

i never heard about that, thats a huge blow to his career, hopefully his recovery continues and doesnt slow him down from getting back in the saddle
