any one know what changes where made to the bikeroom site it looks the same as it did when it went down.

i tried to contact Dave, but i missed him...:(

if i had to put a finger on it, i'd say the oftware didnt work or has harder to implement then they figured...

add into that Bikerooms host is back east, and so are the people who do his 'net work... could be a opposite coast time problem..

but im only guessing... if i manage to get ahold of Dave personally i'll post up the info...

latest news i hear from Dave @ bikeroom is the new software is taking alot longer to get up adn bug free then first expected....

trust me guys its a huge undertaking gonig from his old manual system of order taking to the new sites fully auto-updated inventory system...

Dave has gone to Toronto for teh weekend, perhaps to go smack some webheads back east... as thats where his sites host is....

hopefully the new Bikeroom comes up soon...

p.s. my new pedals arrived @ Bikeroom today... but alas i have to wait till mid-wek to go get em now...:(

the site look is sweet, some of teh stuff is hard to find because of the sub-categories, Helmets are in Clothing, I don't get that :???:

yeah some of the links dont make sence...

i found it easier to just click on the "components" link.. everything is in there...

haahahaah...

like i said the web interface still appears to need some tweaking...

what i really like about it thou, is the fact that when something is "out of stock" it dissapears from the site...

so it should really help clear up any confusion about shipping dates...

Some good deals to be had on tires there, Kenda, Maxxis and Michelin.

If you didn't have to pay for shipping, they'd almost be as cheap as Overtime.

im not certain but i think the site now lists alot more gear that isnt necc. on "special" all the time like the old site...

cuz i to noticed alot of the gear was selling for higher prices then the old site had...

im gunna talk to Dave about that when he returns from T.O..

most prices are decent or great. 70 for a Michie 2.8 is awesome. It's too bad they stopped carrying the El-Norte saddle, unless it's not in-stock yet

yeah could be...

thats how the new system works..

if the product goes out of stock from either Bikeroom or all of his suppliers it automatcily drops off the site..

its very slick system actually...

that way Dave doesnt have to worry about trying to find gear he cant supply right away... its better fro everyone really..

way less hassles...;)
