local bike shop
i usually buy my stuff from www.jensonusa.com and www.bikeman.com
any LBS that sells shimano can get the correct DH 203mm adaptors for frt/rr....
they are pricy thou... about 80$ a pop....:eek:
Shimano has u by nuts on those small parts...
try GRC for a lower cost option, that does the same job....:thepimp:

whats GRC? Could some one please point out which ones on jenson or cambriabike or pricepoint are the correct ones for my bike, I seem to be stupid and am having trouble finding them:mad:
GRC = Gravity Racing components...
http://www.grcomponents.com/home.htm
Sulley is the man....

I believe you can just buy a rear Siant brake and a front 74mm mount, and the adaptors come with them. You could phone Jenson to find out...
Those types of setups might be available on the XT's, but what's 17 bucks an end when you are building a Demo9 up eh?

:cry: :nolove: :cry: you had to mention the demo 9. my parents dont want me to spend that type of mula so im spending 4 usd grand on a bighit dh frame and it going to be :thepimp: to the maxx. I think im just going to get hayes mags since it will bring the cost down. heres my set up so far.

snowboarder the demo pro has a 888rr, its the same thing as a big jr t. As from a racing stand point, I want some controllable suspension, I like the shiver more than the 888r or 888rr or dorado. I love the shiver.
Well then, spend 4100 on the comple Demo9, and upgrade forks a bit later when your Mom gets over you spending 4 g's.

The web site doesn't list a Bighit DH. Just the Expert, Comp, Spec, and Grom. Only DH is the Demo 9.
The Big Hit comp comes with a 6" DJ2. :S That just doesn't seem right. Waste of a frame, if you ask me.
just ride

but the 888's are selling for around $1300cdn-used -why not get it and sell it, then buy the shiver ( you listed it as being $999) then you have like 300ish bucks back. and maybe you will even like the 888 when you get it and ride it? you never know. its an awesome fork and feels great. I think its about the only marz i would ride.
there was a dude selling a used demo 9 in the buy and sell for 3200.00 US thing was damn near brand new
