They beefed up their chainstays for 04. As far as the reliablity with the 04 Slider+... who knows.

I'm 6'3", 225lbs and put my '03 devo through the paces on a regular basis; no frame issues as of yet.

Pedals nicely on the singletrack when it has to.

I've had two of the '02 devo frames (the red ones).

the upper chainstay on that years cracked on all of them but they fixed it in the '03/'04 (black chainstays) ...I cracked mine after about 3 months and brodie replaced it that day.

....but worse was I snapped the headtube off my first frame at whistler. (keep seeing people going "hey weren't you that guy at whister?" lol

so you want to watch the headtube for cracks.

apart from that freakin awesome bikes.

Buddy of mine who owns a shop where he is the only game in town sez "I can pick whatever I want to sell but brodie gives the best warranty service .I can tell em some kid did an absolutely stupid thing and broke a frame and they will still come thru or offer an upgrade for reasonable amount of $$"

he got me warranty on my holeshot ,had the new frame from brodie before I gave him the broken one without even taking a look or sendinmg it to vancover.I was out the door in less like 2 hrs .Try that with some of yer other companys

I think Brodie doesnt get alot of support from people on this board, not sure why
