fits 25.4 with spacers or oversized without...

i have a EA70 on my 888's integrated stem with the spacers...

hope that helps...

Save money and use the integrated.

I have on on my JRT. No complaints. Looks super sharp aswell.

Bolts on underside of crown are kinda hard to get to... but meh.

both are super solid...i wouldn't say one is better...

the Diabolous 31.8 is certainly more pimp thou...

a integrated stem has little pimp factor..:(

its just a solid connection for your bars/fork...

I've been told that the integrated is stronger and stiffer than any stem available.

I'm trying the integrated stem right now, and I think I'll keep it. Not because I notice a difference, but because it frees up my Diabolus for my other bike. :D

Not for me man. I/m running a 2004 Shiver, and using my FUNN Fatboy Slim stem. I'm 200lbs before my gear - and the integrated stem doesn't look beefy enough to handle my hucks and hacks. Plus, I prefer the higher bar height.

It's all preference

The integrated is stiffer. I didn't notice this when I went from my Diablous to the integrated...but I noticed once I went back to the Diablous from the integrated. Follow?
Plus it freed up my Diablous for the other bike:P

And like IFO said, that's :thepimp:

I don't really care that much about the esthetics of bike parts, but the Diabolus stem does look great.

I believe there have been some big hucks done using the integrated stem. :)

I've been told to make sure I have good handlebars as the stem will never go, making the bars the "weakest link".

its funny cuz the bars are what keep you from killing yourself, but yet they are "the weekest link"

I think this refers to the particularily more nasty crashes where you are generally not attached to the bike anymore.....the stem would rotate upon impact. Now it won't. :)

ya - this is the reason I am reluctant to use my integrated stem. I like the idea that if/when I do an unexpected dismount, my bars will spin (and do) rather than snapping brake levers or bars.

im using a shorty stem because i just dont really like the rise and length of it. ive ridden a shorty for the last like 4 years so im pretty used to it. sounds lame but i like it better

The integrated stem is stiffer and stronger then any stem on the market it actually bolts to to the crown and isnt "free" like a normal stem. The only real problem you may have with it is a loose headset, it only uses 1 bolt for the steerer tube, and 2 for the fork legs. I sometimes had my fork loosen up on me but I got a headlock and never had the problem again.

I´ve installed headlock, too. It is better if you use a integrated mz stem.
