my evil - version 3.0

took it out for a little spin this evening. got harrassed by a rent a cop and he even accused me of scoping out some cars. but we were in north surrey and i was on a bike that said evil. go figure.

overall, good to have it built up again. i've missed it.

hehe yea the seat might have to go. But I may keep it for dj'ing as its got this nice little flange thing going on by the rails for nice handle if i wanted any sort of seat grab.

Still looking at boomerang options to jury rig it.. and then just to need to bleed the brakes eventually.

I would disagree with that. Yes, some Evils aren't set up very well, too much spent on the frame not enough spent on the components, but these bikes ride better than any hardtail out there, the only frame that compares is the 24. Both bikes ride perfect.

Nice set up on the bike by the way....except of course for the seat.

version 2.0 (http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=view&image=69244)

version 1.0 #1 (http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=view&image=33405)

version 1.0 #2 (http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=view&image=33406)

In case you wanted see to the other versions I had.

Version 2.0 is my reigning favorite just because I could hit practically anything and hack it up if I was tired - I have no pix of V2.5 but I had my Shivers on there for roughly a month.

I remember seeing that a while ago and my jaw dropped a tiny bit. I gots to say thats one hell of a ride.

I see you have a newer frame with the beefer dropouts too.

I'm sure you just hit everything and anything in your way with that setup, yes no?

personally, i prefer evils with bigass forks, so the wheelbase isnt like a foot. i bet that shortness feels nice for some, but i prefer em longer...

shanks

the seat is surprisingly comfy... except the seatpost is weak and I have to keep tightening it to keep the seat as flat as possible.
