I finally got into the Shed with some light left. Unfortunately the previous attempts the day before slightly drained the batteries in the borrowed cam and I only was able to take roughly 5 good ones.
the shed pix (http://www.pbase.com/evil_dave/gallery/inbox)
so there ya go.
there's roughly 6 other trails similar to this. simliar can be used loosely however.

They cut up logs rides that are only a foot off the ground? :S
Well, that should make it much safer. Now the kids can go crack there skulls in a skate park.

no one is cutting down any more trees, actually, some of the wood used on some of those trails, came from trees that the city had chopped down

I agree. And they can't cut up sakteparks.
I've heard of tons of people literally killing themselves at skatparks, and does anyone sue??? NOOO.
Why not fill in the skatepark with concrete?

word
all because some fucking asshole hurt himself and his parents are assholes too now a sanctuary for mountainbikers is destroyed.
I just want to go smash something right now thinking about it. We should stand up for it and get back at the government whether it be with petitions or something more drastic...(*anarchist side starts coming out but is put back away*). If I lived in delta I would have chained myself to a stunt, but thats just me.

This is sad, last summer the Pit in Langley was being destroyed for "safety" reasons and now this. I will have very little to ride when in the valley when I come back to Canada in the summer. I hope something can be worked out.:???:

first off...dont come down on the loggers....they were told to do a job, and they had to....simple as that...
those pictures are saddening. there is no reason to have sawed the logs. thats plain mean. but the lessons were learned, and we have to move forward. if the bikers get pissed and fight back, nothing good will come. organize, and ensure that future generations of riders dont have to suffer the same losses.
im really sorry you guys had to have this happen; it just sucks :(

For most of the info, look in the shore forum, sacred shed thread, the public outcry for the shed.
The sacred shed thread is huge - info starts at the very bottom of page #335.
