deore 525 disk ????

I am looking at a used rear deore 525. I just want to be sure it can be upgraded to a 8" rotor. Who's got the skinny??

yup, it's doable. i've got M525's and i'm running an 8" up front.

the 525s have 74mm bolt spacing on the calipers, just like hayes and others (they bolt directly onto the sherman w/ 6").

so any adapter for 74mm caliper and 8" rotor should work... right now i'm running an Avid adapter and Hayes rotor and it works awesome.

i personally might not bother w/ 8" on the rear, the 6" does fine for me...
