Dirt Jumper 2?

Purchased a new bike which was supposed to come with Marzochi Dirt Jumper 3 instead came with 2. I know 2 is a better shock but what the main difference?:???:

prolly external adjusters or a better quality level of damping...

I think the main difference is the axle... that's obvious though

it's got internal rebound and external air preload. DJ III has no rebound adjustment at all. to adjust the rebound on the II you have to take out the spring and stick a long tool down inside the for leg and twist.
i don't have a DJ II but that sounds like a pain in the ass to me. hopefully you only have to 'set it and forget it.'™

I have a DJ2...BOTH legs have air preload.....and they actually work, unlike on the EXR comps ONE leg...LOL.

It's pretty noisy, that fork, but it's greatgood enough as long as you're not a nasty hack, and the fact it has a 20mm makes it a sicky fork.....
