Sherman Slider Small or Large (Drop crown?)

Hi guys,

Whats' the diff between a small and large size slider? I found a deal on a 6 inch slider, and the guy says it's a large. Will that fit my 17.5 inch Cove Stiffee? He said I may have to use spacers? Not sure what he's talking about. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

yeah its the size of the crown drop,

I wouldnt worry about it.

i think there was only 1 size for 2003, and that's large.
but their "large" isnt really that much of a drop.
Yes, it should fit, just use spacers like any other fork.

get the large.

he was talking about spacers if you dont want to cut the tube. if you get the fork fit for your bike, then you wont need spacers....

i have a large on my 13" 243 and it worked perfectly.

they did make both a Large adn small in 03....

it refers to either the fork coming with the flat crown or a drop crown...the fork legs are the same length...

get the Large, its better do have the drop crown and not need it, then get a flat crown adn be unable to fit the fork properly....



p.s. the drop crown is only like 3/4" drop anyways....

its kinda dum Manitou, needs a larger drop crown or better yet a longer set of fork legs....:mad:

yeah you need a large. the small is for below a 150mm headtube and stackheight set up and the large for above. they use to have the info on there old site

Nice. I coudn't have used the new Slider plus anyway. I don't want to go over 6 inches on my hardtail.
