I like it. If its going to priced like the rest of the Iron Horses the sales should be pretty good.

It's a downhill version of the DW-Link system used in their XC bikes. Not unlike the V10 as it apparently REALLy cancels pedal input.

Still proto though.

What do you mean rock shox integrated stem...meh!! That stem is soo sick and the bike looks pretty good, i did like the old ones but this must be an improvement or else they wouldnt have them riding theibikes.

I don't see what makes this very different than any other VPP. Looks like DW is just fine tuning the concept.

Pitty we live in sunny australia and not rainy old england, we have a little thing called dust over here, most people dont wash bikes down between practice runs. Oh btw that photo was taken at the Johnny Waddel race which turned out to be a pretty good weekend from all reports.

that is sam hills.
I am pretty sure the stem is a sic proto using that rockshox standard.
the bike looks sweet to me, i would like a better pic to see how the dw link is setup on there. also it seems like there should be some sort of arch or brace on the like second seat tube part of the swingarm. there is that little cross thing but it seems like that area could be a little burlier.
i think it is sweet:thepimp:

Yeah....that's a safe bet. It good, but not as smooth looking than the 888 stem. Still, it's a proto though, I'm sure it will be refined.

Just when I thought I had seen the last new old 4 bar..
but it does looks spiffy.. especially if its utilizing the dw link.
I'd ride it.

does anyone else see the romic sticker on the upper part of the Boxxer Lowers?? I'd swear that's the red Romic sticker...looks like a good bike...IMO they already make the most UNDER-rated bike in the biz...great deals

are you implying thats a romic top crown? or has some romic internals? or both and more even :)

Im pretty sure its not a romic sticker, it looks just like the standard 04 decal kit to me. Sam was riding blackbox forks at the world cups last year, and since the team is sponsered by rockshox, i dont think they'd take too kindly to someone running romic kits in their forks.

dw-link is just about as opposite from vpp as it can get actually. dw-link is covered by its own patents (pending).
You can read more about it here ----> www.dw-link.com
Also see the Independent Fabrications XC bike for another example

Thanks for the good words men, glad you like the look. Still a technology development prototype now, no plans for production.
