i just came out of class today, to find my 2003 norco drop has been stolen. i had it locked with a u-lock and a regular cable lock. it was on a fairly high traffic area at Malaspina U-C. i don't know how someone got away with cutting 2 locks and riding away with bolt cutters, the 2 locks and on a bike with no seat!!! so if anyone sees a black 2003 norco drop w/ truvativ cranks, 5" jr t's, vanilla r shock, 8"hayes hydros...just all the basic parts that came on the 03 drop, since i have changed a thing yet. oh and it had a fender...woohoo. anyways keep ur eye out

thanx
Iain

Dude what were tou thinking. Someone probably saw it and came back with some wheels to take it away. I feel your pain though hope it turns up. Print out photo's with the bike specs and serial and take it to every shop/pawn ya know

the whole thing was locked up, both wheels and the frame, unless he/she unbolted the rear triangle and took everything but the front wheel but then came back and cut the lock off anyways, cause the whole thing is gone

to answer ur question nsmb freeryder, i said 4 takes, cause people say they had to take a double take on something to if they actually saw is what is there, well i had to look 4 different times from a distance to make sure what i saw was true

i went in and filled out and incident report at student services yesturday and they said oh we'll just send it to a few departments and they'll file it, and the women said thats all that really happens with it.

now a question, is it better to tell the police it was stolen from school or home? just for insurance reasons.

Tell the truth. If you are insured it doesn't matter where it was stolen from (provided you have bike insurance under your home package).

The minute you start bs'ing on your claim is the minute things will go wrong. They deal with lieing every day, they will either bust you and you are on your own...or you will pull it off and have to live with being dishonest..just like the prick who stole it.
