Wow...I thought Marinoni's came from Italy all this time...what a dork!!!:P
Sounds like a guy we had in this area...just closed his shop recently.:(
Some old world culture here? Count on Mulletron to drop the lure in to catch the old fish who know better.
Who's the guy you speak of Bloomer?

Val @ Bikesmith. Once you got him talking bike, you were in the shop for at least an hour. I actually BS'ed w/ him so long once I totally forgot what I went in there for!!:P
Know don't him but I know the type all too well. ('course I'm a non-native living up by the velodrome so I keep to the pavement up this way and down to the southeast end).
I'm gonna have to stop in and see that Irishman on my way into town one of these days. Heh, I go up to Van to get haircuts... from a Colnago riding barber who knows most of the old boys from where I grew up riding. Kinda cool getting a slice of culture in the barber chair from a guy who rides road, 'drome and trails. Sorta like the local verbal version of cyclingnews or pezcyclingnews.
