im thinking about moving there...how is the town? anybody know about the bike scene there? how is the ski hill for biking? how are the trails?

Worst bike park ever. 5 runs. shitty stunts. I have never seen such poor crap in my life. I don't like being sent down blue runs that were cut with a weedwacker. Acess roads are not trails, either. the stunts were made out of twigs they cut down and are rickety. I can't express how dissapointed I was with it.

The town is quaint though:)

Not too sure about the ski hill, but it looks pretty tame and doesn't have any alpine. Maybe go for fernie? or Panorama?

Apparently the ski hill is facing the wrong direrction so that te sun warms up the slop during the day turing the snow to shushy stuff then it all freezes during the night in to ice.

Kinda like the local mountains hahaha my geography teacher was bitching about how the people who made them were idiots because of the way they were facing one day, it was great.

^^^Yah exactly, they made them so that you could have a nice preaty view of the city but they are crappy because of that. ie. the cut, an outstanding view of the city it just blows cause it gets all the sun.
