I like them all, but Blood Donor is especially nice right now. It might be my current favourite. And I always like the cabin trail because I can go fast. :)

It depends what you like. I enjoy the woodwork on Platinum, but am no good at gaps, so it wouldn't even be my number one. I like the natural stuff. Tsuga, Upper/Lower Toadstool, and B-Line. Blood Donor is cool as is Giant Killer. Hoots. All of them.

TheRob's Saturday morning special: Tsuga/Gold/Blood Donor/Giant Killer/Hoots/Quick Hit/Shotgun. Ahhhhhhh.......

went to the the woodlot yesterday and I would have to say blood donor. The woodwork the builders have been putting into this trail by far the best I have seen in a while. Thanks to the builder..

The last I heard heckle was fine until the bottom of the stunted area and the fast bermed, gaps and such was gone. I don't know how many people would get such a kick out of platinum either. It's one of those trails that for the right people it's kick ass but last time (the first time) I was there there were 8 guys in the crew with only 3 of us riding the trail as it was intended so...

I had a blast and can't wait to go back but I wouldn't take a ton of people to that trail. I'd show them gold first for the true woodlot experience. Just my opinion.

Now if only I knew where this fluffy kitten trail was.

Banjopete,

As Dirty-bike said, Fuffy Kitten is the original name for Mandatory Caution. It is a seldomly ridden trail off to the east side of the Mtn. It consists of many elevated skinnies and a HUGE drop at the end of the trail, but the top part of the trail is suicide in the wet. It is the definition of a dry weather trail.
So if you want to ride Fluffy Kitten, ask a local where Mandatory Caution is and I am sure someone will point you in the right direction.

Later,

Thedude

yeah for sure, I'll definitely keep that in mind next time I'm out there around the summer time,

it sounds like quite a fun trail,

I rode the old cabin trail to snakes and ladders after a go around on gold and blood donor, it was a pretty fun natural run. I was following an older guy that I'd just met who must have been at least 55, he was rocking down the trail. Very impressive.

Hekyll & Jekyll is closed indefinitely. There is active logging in the area and a road going through what was the bottom section of the trail.

For those of you who are familiar with H&J, you'll recognize that the bottom section is the most environmentally sensitive and most susceptible to damage. Given that the section has been all but obliterated, mtn bikers now have to go through non-groomed terrain to reach the end of the trail.

To clarify: If you ride this trail, you're not helping mtn biking at the Woodlot. If you ride this trail, you're making the entire biking user group look irresponsible and unable to police itself. This comment is directed partially at the person / people who ripped down the Trail Closure signs that were located at the entrance of Hekyll.

PLEASE STAY OFF THE TRAIL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

If you have any questions about the Woodlot, contact us at woodlotbuilders@hotmail.com. We check the account at least once per week so we'll get back to you reasonably quickly with specific questions about the Woodlot.

pff me and buds can do everything there with singlespeed

the dude - yeah fluffy is suicide in the wet haha I almost impaled my spine on a rock, and my friend was riding one of the downhill log rides , his tires lost all traction and he slid it all then had too much speed so he jumped off, it was damn funny haha
