yes yes, another one of these threads...

I have a 13" 243. Currently I have a JRT2, a nice trail fork. However I live in Whistler and this season plan to ride the park 2-3 days a week and maybe hit up Shore, Pemby and Squish and some Whis single track/FR now and again. My longest up shouldn't be too much more than like seventh on Fromme. I also watched Etnies Forward twice and would like to do the street styles riding also...

IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION-wtf fork should I get that will compress at high speed, rideable up a hill, decent for erbane styles...

some thoughts: Flick, Shiver sc, Z150, Shiver DC, Supa T, Slider, what?

My only knock agains the JRT2 is it doesn't feel great at speed in the park. Any suggestions please (besides monsters;) )

Thanx in advance, yeah I did a search already...:)

Flick or Slider.

Flick is going to be WAY better for street stuff, just due to turning radius, barspins etc. I have the flick, its uber beef and I love it.

Something Sherman all the way, you will LOVE it too.

flick, z 150 or slider.

flick will be awesome for tech stuff and street, but it will not be nearly as rigid as a dual crown.

the z 150 is pretty fricken rigid and burly for a sc, but i still think they are probably more prone to faliure than the sherman, but i think they are pretty fricken rigid as well.

the slider is a great for dh and huckin but it wont climb as well as either of the scs and is not nearly as good in parks and street stuff as the flick will be.

i think the z 150 might be a great comprimise for you, it is super smooth, rigid, you can lower the travel for climbing, and you will still be able to to do some street stuff with it(but it is too tall and heavy for strickly park riding), if you are fairly smooth and dont break a lot of parts then go with the z 150.

if you want to go more tech and stuff and arent that huge go with the flick and lastly if you are gonna mostly be riding real hard and break alot of parts and are gonna basically gonna be doing dh and hucking, and almost no skatepark then go with the slider.

Not a DJ1.

and I'd try and stay DC cuz of all the Whistler park riding you'd do...

6" Slider, I'd say.

Given your situation I would pick the SuperT based on weight, DC-ness, and plushness.

Sorry but I disagree with the whole DC fork on a hardtail thing.

I'd for the the Sherman Flicks or the Z1 Freeride/Z150.

All great forks...
