I really want to upgrade my fork to an 04 flick. But some people tell me the regular quick release models make your axles snap.

Shermans are already expensive, so it would be nice to keep my wheels as they are. I wouldnt want to be getting new wheels just for the thru axle version. But, having front axles snap would be scary.

I'm sure there are some of you guys that run the flick with qr, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

I have a QR Flick, its been fine, no troubles,

anyways, if the axel does snap it shouldn't kill you, the wheel might stay on
