Nope :)
Out of all the parts I wouldn't mind breaking on a bike... the headtube isn't one of them.

HERE'S THE DEAL:
I know the guy, we talk online occasionally. He showed me those pics a few days ago...apparently he landed a jump wayy too flat or something, and his bike just crumpled. He told me he ripped the spokes out of his wheel too. Gotta suck, but I already told him that Da Bombs were no good.
I can ask him other details if you want, but I'll probably just show him this thread.
sure he's whining that his bike broke, but i don't see where he's whining about warranty or that he is on some big tyrade, he's just pissed and bumbed out that he has no bike to ride anymore, but that's typical to jump just conclusions and label people.
honestly i feel bad for the guy, like M13 said unless he drove over it i'd be pretty choked that my bike broke too.

I totally agree. It always sucks when your bike breaks, even if it is because you bought a crappy bike in the first place. Some people just don't have the money for M1's.

yes the frame tubing is usually quite small like that :) its quite normal for the standard anywaz for the TOP and BOTTEM TUBES for sure depends on what tubing on the chain stays
