umm i think you can use em with rim brakes, but dmr adivse you get the silver ones cuz if you used rim brakes with the black ones the paint would wear off

Get over it, lol, it's a bit of duct tape, we all know it holds the world together!

I have the same seat, but sadly, mine lacks duct tape.

cheers free ryder :)

Its holdin up fine New_Breed, i havnt done any hard riding on it yet cuz ive only just got it built up....but from the riding ive done on it it seems solid enough to handle almost anything:D The frame is stiff as hell too

hey spongebob how are those rims holding up i think im gonna get one for the rear end of my bike!

i bought a double track for the front and sadly they do not make 36 hole 24" double tracks for the rear so i cant have matching rims :S and the double track seems to be alot beefier then the DMR (and heavier :S ) oh well i guess the double track should last forever on the front end considering my ryhno lite was doing fine but i had to sell it with my other bike.

man that is a sick frame i like the raw finish on those frames :)

Hey have you had any problems with rust? im looking at getting the same frame but i was told if i get it in raw that it will rust very quickly. Im sad because thats the nicest frame ever!

EC Biker
12-02-2003, 05:18 PM
It only rusts a little where you scratch it. At least that's with the matte black version(mine). I can't see how a thoroughly clearcoated Gimp would be any different.

As to how my Gimp is holding up, I beat the bejeezus out of mine on a regular basis, and it still feels 100% strong.

spongebob
12-03-2003, 02:50 PM
yeah, the gimp is better than alot of people think.

My frame has a little bit of rust from where its got a few scratches, but its nothing deep...just surface rust, basically just colouring. Its nothing to worry about at all:cool:
