Stolen:
Two Rocky Mountain RM7s, right out of my locked and alarmed shed. They happened to do it during the day when I was home working in the basement…the only time the alarm is off.
One is Blue paint, 2003, brand new Monsters, medium. The other is the green “Wade” edition, 2001 Boxxers, medium. I’ve been trying to sell the Blue one to pay for the green one. The paint is the later edition 2002 blue scheme.
I have an idea who it is, and am wondering if anyone has experienced of knows the guy…
In August, a guy who said his name was Mike Peterson came by to check the bike out. He’s about 5’9”, stalky, short light brown hair, wears a goatee. He’s also partly deaf, and wears a hearing aid. He may be Quebequois, because he seemed to have an accent, although his accent may be a result of being deaf. The guy is fairly muscular looking…looks like he weighs about 190 lbs.
The guy came by once, we settled on a price, and said he’d come back in two days to pay. He gave me his phone number. When he never showed, I tried calling, and the number was not in service.
I live in Cloverdale.
Serial numbers:
· RM7 2003 Blue, Med, 2003 Monsters, Intense wheels, race face goodies, XT Parts. Serial #2003060000.
· RM7 2003 “Wade Simmons” edition, green, 2001 Boxxers (2002 stickers), Shram parts, race face goodies. Serial #2003004855.
If anyone sees two new looking Medium Rocky’s like those matching above in your shops, please check the Serial numbers. If you see a guy who matches the description above, let me know. I’d like to speak to him in person. If you see him riding one of my bikes, kick him in the c**t.
