Hello everyone,

I found this information on the AbleAuctions website.

AUCTION TITLE: Burnaby Police Auction
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, November 4, 2003 @ 6:00 PM PST
ADDRESS: 5762 Sprott Street, Burnaby, BC
PREVIEW DATE/TIME: Tuesday, November 4th from 5pm to 6pm
INTERNET PREVIEW: In Person Only
INTERNET BROADCAST: No

If you lost your bike or had your bike stolen recently, grab your receipt and head out to the auction. It's worth a shot. I'm a little disappointed that the preview time is only an hour prior to the auction - It would be nice if we could have time to send someone out to the premises for a preview and post information relating to bikes a day before the auction.

I'm going to call but likely these bikes that are being auctioned have been in possession by the police long before mine were stolen..

I work for the city of Burnaby. We hold the auction stuff here until the auction date. There were five or six bikes that we had in storage for tonight. I can pretty much guaruntee(sp?)that one of them isn't yours. Unless you ride a Supercycle. Or a CCM.

I talked to AbleAuctions today and they said that the Vancouver Police Department typically holds stolen property for 2 years prior to auction.
