Today on the way up to the yellow gate I saw:
1. Bikes strewn all over the sidewalk so residents had to walk in the street to get around the riders.
2. A biker cut off a vehicle, no signal, no warning, then mouth off the driver. Nice work.
3. A guy urinating near the gate while hikers were around.
Why can't people smarten the fuck up. :???:

And these are the kind of guys who will complain non stop about the " assholes" making them park down the hill and ride up
i totally know what your talking about. in south oz where i am, we catch the public train up, and do the run down, and just use that as our shuttle all day long. the scene is getting pretty dam big in the train runs these days on the weekends, especially if the sun is out and shining. we get about 40-60 bikes on the train at once, once it has gotten over 70 i think. they had to increase it to 3 cars from 2 to fit us all on.
this is the problem. me and my friends want to make a good impression, but its the younger kids who dont care. they just chuck their bikes on the train, dont care if their in the way. dont really care if there is a lady with a pusher or a wheelchair there.
or we get down to the bottom and go to hungry jacks (like mcdonalds) and they leave their bikes all over the place out the front not caring if their in the way of HJ's customers.
its usually embarrasing coz if a group of kids get like that, then the public probably think were like that too. makes me not wanna ride around em usually.
this sport is starting to take off in australia, and i dont want a bad impression of us to get around.

the funny thing is, at the end of the day, these guys will be thanking the "assholes" for making them park down the bottom.

Shit thats stupid. We dont want to lose fromme:( People need to smarten up.Some people put in so much hard effort and time to keep it open for us to ride then assholes go and do stuff like that to mess it up. Not only is it a slap in the face to the people who work hard to keep it open but also the biking comunity and the residents. People should smarten their asses up. Rant over.

Oh sure, but if you can't wait until up the road a little and in the bush, you need to see a Dr.

That's why there is a portable toilet up the road maybe 3 minutes from the gate. Next time anyone sees a mtber peeing publicly near that gate, walk up to him, put your foot on his back and push as hard as you can... then laugh and laugh and laugh
either that or we start up public canings.

I saw a guy mouthing of fellow bikers today because they were slower and kinda blocking the trail, it was a big group. I just hate to see that and about the side walk thing, is it ok to get dropped off at the top of lynn valley and then your dad go park in a propper spot after. Mouthing off cars and cutting them off is horable not only is it bad for biking, the car will winn if it hits you. I ride with some guys that are alot more imature then me I',m embarrsed at times to ride with them, as they say things too people and do things that are just stoopid. I was up there yesterday with those guys. What bikes were they guys riding that did this stuff super 8 if you remeber. I hope fromme will be saved I had the best ride ever yesterday, progressed so much.
