could someone enlighten me as to where the BMX track is? I heard it was in colwood but I have no idea where. Just PM me, thanks

It is in Colwood, at the Juan de Fuca sports complex, right beside the new arena/velodrome...It's being rebuilt at the moment thought...

It's also conviently located about 2 minutes away from Western exchance for all those bus riders...

I was there one time and hugo donais (sp.) from norco was there ripin it up he is fucking fast:lol:

It's in Colwood, not Sooke. Believe me, I would know considering I live in Colwood...:rolleyes:

sorry haha, im not really from here i was just confused, set some people on the wrong track.

I wouldnt mind going there to rip on my shitty bmx sometime, that would be fun (aaron, want to go sometime after reading break?)

Yep it's a pretty long 10 minute ride from here...It used to be pretty nice, couple of large jumps. I don't know what they have planned for it now though...

The worlds are in Nanaimo. Ya I race at both tracks. Both pretty fun.

Right now the vic track is torn down though, I dont know whats happening with it. Some dude that races 4x for mongoose moved up here for a few months from california cause his g/f lives here and he was saying its been plowed.

They are ruuning a water pipe for the new arena right through the track area. Its gonna be rebuilt when the arena construction is done.

Geez...it's too bad Colwood is a lame-ass burb of Vic, and the riding on the South Island sucks ass! I lived there - I know. Reason #468 why I moved to Whistler - better riding all 'round.

prevost, tzouhalem, plenty of other mountains and a hell of alot of skate parks sucks? weird.....

I live in north saanich so I can pretty much liek see prevost from my house but its more than an hour drive away :mad:
