Seen some pics of what seems to be a super well built and fun trail on Pinkbike called 911. It's on Vancouver Island either in Courtenay or Victoria - not sure which. If anyone has any directions they'd like to PM that would be great.

Appearently, its in Victoria. You would be better off asking Blah or Tony (:???:) as I have no clue about that area.

It does look fun though :thepimp:

ive built one by myself, spent 4 days labouring to make empress, been to more trail days that you have fingers. and if it was secret, i wouldnt care if somebody pmed it just to you, its a secret for a reason and doesnt need to be discussed on a website. eh son?

Sorry, guess I didn't who I was talkin' to. You're that guy that bilt that trail.....Wow, one whole trail? PLUS 4 entire days doing trail work? How DO you find the time....I mean when do you sleep, eat, or even find the time to be morally superior to other board users? You must have an assistant....well a helper of some sort anyways!

Oh, and Wilkez, just because one person doesn't know something doesn't mean it's a secret......You probably don't know much about physical chemistry and Bose-Einstein states....doesn't mean their secret.

You live in Surrey, why even comment on a thread involving trails on VANCOUVER ISLAND?? MAybe it's the principle of the thing:rolleyes:

Wilkez said he has built a trail. It's apparently a pretty good trail.

He also said he spent four days (commuting from Surrey to North Vancouver) to help out on the Empress re-route. I spent a day doing the same. Maybe you're not aware of what the Empress re-route was all about. It was helping out with the Parks board to build a multi-use trail to ease the bike traffic off the Bridle Path. It was also a huge opportunity to improve relations with the powers that be on Mt. Seymour. It was a lot of work, and I'll bet you won't find many others that made it to all four trail days on that trail.

He also said he's been to more trail days than you have fingers.

I don't personally know him, but in my books his work does give him the right to be morally superior than most members, particularly you.

It's great that Wilkez drove all that way and drove all four days to work on a trail. Really. But him saying that "trail builders hate people like me" is just stupid. I thought the underlying idea of this board was supposed to be that everyone is equal, right?....Regardless of how many trails you've built. Of course I've never been to any trail days....I live in Victoria, hence the question!! I guess if I do come all the way over a couple times for some trail days I can start spreading hate on this board? Right on!!

I asked a question - if noone had responded, I would have left it at that. Instead people like you and Wilkez feel that you have to put me in my place for even asking. Pretty cool.

Why does everyone have to have the holier than thow surfer attitude. The guy asked somebody to PM him where a trail is. Why bust his balls, he obviously had enough savvy to not ask for directions to be posted in the open. I have built many trails and I don't get the attitude, is it this site?? no, I have had nothing but support from the NSMB crew since I have run into landowner issues where I build. I used to try and make my trails secret but then I realized I am building them on public land that I do not own and I really have no right to have a private club. This does not mean that I give every single person direction but it does mean that I won't try to embarass them on this thread. :rolleyes:

hey guys
me and my friends built the 911 that has dirtjumps
its right by the vic general hospital
me and julian were the main builders even though a few others helped out
all of the jumps are crappy now they have no lips and theres people that go there with there motor bikes who are dangerous
im not just saying this so people wont go there
i havnt been there for over a month now as i have a new spot for some dirt jumps
