Went for my first ride on the shore today in about 4 weeks. So much fun, the most perfect ride I have ever had. Everything was flawless, the trails, the bikes and the friends. It was super misty up there and not really bright. Only stopped 3 times on pangor and corkscrew/pingu to check out mark and chris/daves/pd's work on the respected trails. First time on empress this year. I feel good finally riding the small effort i put into helping the reroute.

PS .. nice work on that new little gap drop at the bottom of pangor DAVE (im assuming) its mint.

PS .. SYNRCO (??sp) beautiful work mark, its mint, almost the best i have ever seen. CBC/OILCAN/Platinum Quality woodwork.

UH its essentially a smaller Stiffee sl , the Top Tube is at least 2 inches shorter, and its targeted at dirt jumpers, smaller shore riders and park/street.

I hit some old skool Fromme trails with Dub and Wade a couple of days ago. So-o--o-o much fun.

Crippler is way cool with all the wooden coasters, and we also tagged some old stuff I haven't seen in ages. remember the Ragdoll?

fuck. i dunno how you could pay that much for a HT frame. considering you could buy a Kona HT, which is essentially the same thing (essentially =not the same thing) for less than half the price. $200 more and you could get a killer dual frame.

Cove = Better warentee & stronger designs.... plus the kid is a Cove grom so his life revolves around that bike shop

I think Ross got his new frame and hour after he turned the old one in for warentee.....

there's a million konas though!
If you have the money (I don't:( ) it's worth it to have a bike that everyone will look at and say 'Whoa, don't see many of those'! No one looks twice at a kona ht.

my 2 cents

Bookwus is a lot of fun - not really 'old school' time-wise since it was only built 7 years ago but still very raw and natural and rarely ridden.

Mill Street trail (aka Lower Skull?) is my favourite way off the mountain from B-P. Sweet, steep and natural and almost spits me out at my back door.

Exectutioner also is rarely ridden and is a nice flowy line down that hasn't changed much over the years.
