Any decent riding around the Sumas WA area

Have to go over the border and pick up some mail order shit, i might as well go for a ride. Taking the XC rig

I know there's some riding around lake padden but that's closer to Bellingham than sumas. There is good riding in abbotsford though, near the ledgeview golf course for short laps or up sumas mountain for a longer ride. Ask at life cycles in abbotsford for directions.

I thought most of the stuff at ledgveiw got torn down. Mt Sumas is a great spot but I was hopeing to hit somthing over the line. I would think their would be some XC around the lower parts of baker. I hear there is some real nice "freeride trails" around bellingham. Any locals want to give me a tour.

The Hell of the NorthWest XC race course is a bit East of Sumas and was fun if I recall. As for directions, does anyone else have that info??

Alot of the stuff at ledgeview did get torn down but it is still rideable. The bridges that got torn down served no real purpose and were usually poorly made. If you do chose to ride there I would just head up to milktoast.
