Just checking out the new magazines in Chapters next door.
Mountain Biking UK (one of those fancy British glossys in plastic bags) October issue has a nice story on our favourite online magazine, with a fantastic shot of Cam at his computer, and also some nice shots of Air Supply.
The Brit mags are hard to find, but if your near a Chapters on Indigo check it out.
World domination is near for NSMB.

Congratz on the coverage boys, well earned

If only they'd share the wealth with some of the contributors - even a simple hoodie would do.....;)

Those British rags rock. The North American mags could learn a hell of a lot if they read those. One thing I noticed with the road racing magazines ProCycling and Cyclesport, the articles never require that you go to some other place in the magazine to find the rest of the article. Ever try and find "continued on page 81" when they only number about every 17th frickin page! Geez by the time you find the continuation you forgot what you last read and have to return to see what your thought was and then go find that continued on page by which point you've wipped your friggin arse with page 81.
Plus the English understand wet riding. Never trust a Californian to tell you about mud tires. Or warm clothes.
yeh im biggin it up on the british side of things for ya. The guys down the jumps never hear the end of nsmb..................:D

:D Yes we are rather bad at that.
Oh and yes, UK mags actually have trials riding, go figure, who would want to read about trials?? Not sure, maybe me.

meh you dont want NSMB.com to be attacked by Rigel 7 like they did to Dairr Queen:eek::P
ya i have to agree nsmb.com is getting more world wide everyday, from shore to BC, then Canada, then world, and of course, the universe.:)
w/o NSMB, i wouldnt be where i am, enjoying my life
A German mag printed some info on our beloved website as well....of course, the "real riders";) knew about its existence from the beginning.
NSMB simply rocks and Cam is cool as hell:thepimp:

Yeah, I was at Eurobike and Pippin had a tonne of stickers there and I think a good percentage ended up on the internet cafe's computers :D
But yeah, most sites here have a link to it and of course NSMB rules the world, everyone else just competes for their own pride!! :thepimp:

yeah MBUK's been going a long, long time here in england - the last ABC figures for circulation was 50,094 copies per month
some people don't like it because they run pretty stupid articles like underwater riding, skydiving with a bike, etc. but its alot of stupid fun so its all good, they get the best product exclusives and have the most influence with it being the mail order shopping bible for UK grommets
we also have Dirt, MBR (mountain bike rider) - more for XC riders, loads of roadie mags and other stuff
Dirt has better pictures but have alienated alot of riders with a sometimes elitist attitude, lack of criticism of new products and too much FMX, MX, BMX, etc. in what's supposed to be a bicycle mag? it reportedly doesn't even hit 8,000 circulation?

oh yeah the NSMB.com article that MBUK ran was one of their best features yet
we all know nsmb from the freeride scene already

MBR (previously mentioned UK XC mag) seemed to have spent most of their summer in BC...........running bike tests at Whistler and in the latest issue riding Disneyland in Squamish with Shandro, Tippie et. al. There has been more than a few NSMB jerseys popping up in their pictures over the summer. Dont discount them as a XC mag, for my money they are one of the best all round UK mags available.
But for me, :thepimp: Dirt :thepimp: is still the daddy

Uhmm...I think the article has some kind of "yellow-press" flavor - the riders supposed to be shown are not the real ones depicted: Richie Schley looks like K.Sansalone in RTTH, the Wade pic looks like Tyler or Dan riding on an Ellsowrth.
I think there are better articles around.
It's for the XC-posse. But still, nice pics.

MBUK isn't a bad mag, annoying sometimes and not enough reviews but all in all pretty good.

my custom pc hasn't crashed in over a year, maybe its because I stoped downloading things and the only things I ever do are NSMB, MSN and interneting. oh, and those internet games like www.addictinggames.com and editing photos and listening to music...what am i talking about? backing up a PC pfft... my comp has 128 mb of ram and im never using under 190 mb of ram, with music, msn, internet and photoshop on, im using over 350 and my comp goes rather slow. time for a mac :coo:

I grabbed like couple dozens of the old blue stickers (BTW, did I say that Pip is a cool guy?) - and plastered them on lamp posts, my helmets, three on my frame...on my university stuff, my brother's car (it's started to peel off..damn). hehe. :D
This is the website that started waaaay before all the others went on the "freeriding" thing. well, sweet yesterdays...
cam - you and the other from NSMB just ROCK !!!!:rocker:
Hope I can make it next year around April or May, before my final exams take off with all the tests and stuff....would be sweet. But have promised it sooo often. damn. :(
