Does anyone know a link to find a tech manual for a 2002 super T.
The new marz site has user manuals for a super T but no information on internals.
Also, I just changed the oil and have developed a small ticking noise when the fork first makes contact with the ground. There is a small amount of play under the preload caps (maybe 1-2mm). All the spacers, washers and springs have been put back in and the c clips have been installed.
Any ideas why this would be happening?
Thanks.

If the springs are upside down ,they will click ,sounds dumb but happened to me,also try preloading to see if it disappears. I f your preload caps have any space between them and the springs ,they will definately click. Other than that , your super has damping that if not (re)assembled exactly right will do all sorts of wierd stuff, clicking ,hissing and feel strange to ride. Hope that helps>:woot:

I should of made a diagram when I took the thing apart. I am now second guessing the order of the internals.
Starting from the bottom the order should be:
1.Lower Spring (blue marking)
2.White Washer
3.Upper Spring (red marking)
4.Black Spacer (tube)
5.White Washer
6.Preload Adjuster(silver)
7.Top Cap
8.C Clip
9.Preload Knob

Does this sound right???

#1 and #3 should be flipped but it doesn't really matter.

My super makes those sounds too. Marz sells spacers that fit under the C-clips or you can just get a disc brake bolt spacer and cut it in half and shove it under there and put your preload cap back on. That worked for me for a while untill I rebuilt the fork and lost the spacer I had cut lol.

Don't worry about it, it's not going to break your fork, it's just really annoying.

Are you sure there's 1 - 2mm of play? Cause thats a lot.. The most I ever had was like maybe 1/4 - 1/2 of a mm.

If you do try the spacers under the C-clips and it doesn't work then remove both top caps, including the preload nut under the cap, and put it back on, you gotta toy with it untill the nut goes in at the exact same time that the top cap screws into the stanction.

Thanks for the info. I will look into both options.
I just found it kind of weird that after the initial oil change I put everything back together and it was fine. Then I decided to add a bit more oil and after the top cap was put back on the second time I noticed the clicking noise.

Actually, the play is only 1/2 mm at most. Just enough to move and make annoying sounds.
