what lenghts, and strokes does the 6 way come in and hwo much can are they. are they going to be out soon as well. I'm going to get a ave or , 5 th or 6 way. Is there a romic that is 8.75 by 2.75 they make a 9 inch long one but not 8.75 I think will a 9 inch long oen fit. on a 03 bighit dh.

monster a 9" will fit, but it will raise you bb and steepen ypur head angle i believe.

They're already available. Your LBS can get you one. They sell for around $640.

well the 6 way is cheaper then the ave and easier to get for 675 that is not too bad, has anyone ridden one how deos ti compare to a fox and a 5th. are the 5th and the 6 way the same.

Swingers are amazing.

They aren't quite as smooth as an Avy, but was smoother than Fox or especially a 5th (not that it matters when you're on the trail). Also, the Swinger, unlike the Fox, Romic and Avy is Stable Platform. Stable Platform makes a huge difference all around...pedalling especially, but sticking drops as well. Avy's suck into drops, but only when the rebound is set slow. My 5th is setup fairly quick but when I land something burly it just sinks in and keeps the rear wheel planted. It's amazing. I would never ride a non SPV shock again...they're THAT good.

From my time on the new Swingers (Giant DH = Trail; Demo9 urban sesh, Big Hit Expert urban sesh), they're like a real plush 5th. I still think the 5th's stickiness helps on the trail to keep it glued, but the Swinger feels hella good when youre just sitting on your bike...which is worth something, too.

Manitou actually did something truly good!! (w/ progressive's help :p )
