the RM7 by far, the 9 Ball is a Fugly frame. Plus the RM7 has a more active suspension

RM 7 FR hands down.. like Ruff said, 9 ball is ugly, and i've heard ALOT of bad things about it.

I'll say this so that IFO doesn't have to:

TEAM BIGHIT: get on it...

I love my Scream, but I think the trailing arm style suspension like RM uses, should really be developed more. It's the way suspension should go. Super active, just gotta fix the wobble issue some people have and the snapping problem a FEW people have had.

Banshee Scream's are so nice! I dont know how much the RM7 is but I saw a scream for $1999 at evolution bikes in whistler a while ago.

The scream is a ripping machine

Good point.

Buying new? Get the same RM ride with a beefier rear in the RMX.

Ya I think so too, just go fer the RMX, unless you can get the 03 for Significantly(with a capital s) less. If you can't there are other places you should look before you can hook up a RMX for a hand-me-down price.

did all that make sense?

RMX = 8" travel and revised link/stays correct?

8". Team has the Swinger shock. Much beefier rear. Even the Switch is beefed up, and now uses a 2" stroke shock.

What's wrong with the 9-ball? The styling is, "controversial" I guess, but so are some of the older norco's... What have you heard that's bad about them? I've heard no bad reviews and no shops have seen any warantee claims when I've asked them. It's in a different category than the rm7 really.

wheres teh "neither" option ??

but if those 2 are the only options i'd take the RM7...just be prepared to service the rear end alot....

Big Hit if you're hitting hard for sure. I LOVED mine.

My Scream is WICKED for slow speed riding...can't complain one bit.

RMX is one of my favorites for the new year.

9ball is hell.

Tell the guy what he wants to hear...just those 2 frames.

I say the RM7 just because the 9 ball dont look all that pretty. I know some of you are gonna go "its all performance u should worry about blah blah blah" i dont care...when you spend that kind of money, i would want my bike to look good. Although as someone said below, i have never seen a broken 9 ball or heard of one but many Rm7s. Its all up to you dude.

9-Balls feel so nice and plush, I'd definately suggest looking into it, I love my Bullit, and would personally stay away from RM's with their links, they don't pedal too well and my friend jus snapped his swingarm off like a 5ft drop a few weeks ago.
