when my new wheel arrives im gunna explode my other one(really trashed have no need for it and its a pos).

im going to take off the disk, caliper, derailler, d-hanger, and my chain.

then im gunna cut some spokes to make it just able to hold my weight then im gunna hit a 7 footer(hard landing)

and its going to be on film and put into our movie:D

so do you think i should do it???

might hurt the frame when your wheel collapes and your chainstays smoke the ground...

jsut put it on your bike without a tire and and try and ride and turn fast on the street. its fun.

i would do what mark said, but not drop on it, could easily screw up your frame and get the rider hurt.

I was going to jump the road gap in Kranked III in a car for a movie, and when getting out there I realised that it wasn't worth it. Use your head when it is not clouded with thoughts of coolness, it works better that way.

its not that fantastic getting an exploding wheel on cam after a bit, my mate shatterd his 321 on a roadgap, got a SWEEET view side on of it, heres a sequence shot of it. im on dial up so i cbf uploading the video.

dont do it, it will screw ur bike over altho my mates bike was fine and he rolled.......actually, dragged out of it still up right till he came to a stop. put a 1inch trench in the ground tho :D

EDIT: skidding out of it on ur frame unhurt is highly unlikely.

Hopefully when it breaks the rim won't get stock on your bike, and damage it

ya, or a spoke go through your leg...

c'mon man, use your head.

plus, the wheel isn't shot now. don't waste it. hang it on a hook somewhere. that way, when your new wheel goes out of true real bad, or gets messed in a crash, you'll have a backup.

the last thing you oughta want, is for your bike to be out of service....

i have enough parts at home that if anything were to break, i can just bolt on another one, and not think too much of it. ya, i go buy a part to replace the broken one, and put the new part on, saving the old replacement to replace the new one, if need be.

the only thing i don't have extra here is grips. but, i have 4 rolls of cork tape, so, i am semi-covered... and what happens to grips unexpectedly...
