Anyone have a ball-park figure on shipping a run-of-the-mill bike? Who would you ship with? Or has anyone done it in the past and if so how much was it?

Canada Post and Greyhound are going to be your cheapest bets! One advantage of Canada Post is if your are selling, they offer COD in Canada

Slider DC (2004)...

no question... unless you want a full on DH fork... in which case u should look into draining your bank account for a Dorado Dc...

dont go with purolator.. its super expensive. i usually shipped with them tho cause i used to work there and got 75% off, but other than that it woulda turned out to be a lot. canada post is pretty good, and UPS is pretty good for international shipping. i shipped my le toy frame to england for i think around $90 through ups if that helps any
