Hub tightening up

I've got this deore hub which has given me nothing but trouble.

The current problem with it is that it seems to tighten up on itself. When the cones get loose i would tighten it and it would spin nice a freely like it should, but then i ride it for a while it seems to tighten up on itself so that it barely spins and grinds against the bearings. This has happened to me several times and i'm am getting even more pissed off at this hub. So anyone know what's happening? Is it something i'm doing wrong?

And also what's an Ok hub for a fairly good price? formula? xt?

I got a formula, but only cuz it came cheap laced to a 24 incher with a kolossal.... super good hub though, its lasted forever

I had that problem (except it would come loose everyday, not tighten up) XT hub will solve that..90 or 100 i think?

Degrease the lock nut and bearing cone nut. Then tighten the lock nut to the bearing cone nut really well. Properly sized cone wrenches really help.
