Can someone tell me if one of those tour guys with the fancy trailers offers shuttle service- for a fee of course. Are there any shuttle options when riding solo?

...Not really. It costs more than $5 to run a regular pick-up from the bottom to the top, and then a recovery vehicle to bring it down.
Then of course there is parking on top of that.

so worth it, no matter how many runs you do, no matter how big your group is

$5 per person..
figure they can fit X number of people...
the weight of riders and bikes, plus ware, tear of the shuttling...
they are most likely losing monitarily in the long run..but nice of em to offer the service.

Yeah, I can't see it staying that cheap for much longer. It's almost 45 km round trip form the bottom of Ned's to the top of CBC and back again.
You think $5 is expensive?
A day pass at Whistler is $35. Let's see you do 7 runs of Seymour. I bet you bonk after two.

Hey Smoke,
How much do you and Barbie charge for a run? I see her driving the truck there a lot.

We don't do that kind of taxi style shuttle service.
It's $60 for a full day of guided riding. To do what ChuckWagon does requires a special permit from the motor vehicles branch, and I'm not too interested in going after that market at this point anyway. The road trips are way more fun than driving all day.
I do the occassional freebie ride out of the Cove. Keep an ear out for those. They were on Wednesday nites, but wiht the shorter days I might do a couple on weekends.

Cool. $60 for a day of guided touring is actually a pretty sick deal...Might have to take that up sometime and ride somewhere new.

I highly recommend a Smoke-guided trip. He has broken body parts that one doesnt even know exist. However, be careful when following his lines

Only on other people. My bike injuries consist of broken fingers (all of them sometime or other), a couple of hematoma's, occasional torn muscles, and a spontaneous lung collapse (barely bike related. Probably did it cliff jumping at Pool 99).
That's in 23 years of riding the shore.
Only stitches I've ever had biking were a direct result of LEE LAU!!
My lines are the best. You just have to watch the follow through.

Oh wow. I forgot about that trip. That was D'arcy's 45th birthday. He was the huge Russian. That was nutz. I think I slept a total of six hours all weekend. Those alod bastards don't stop.
Did you know that we were some of the last people to ride that canyon line? The trail was shut down that week. Something about private land and Bighorn sheep habitat.
