Check for nails on Rose ok?!

Someone's been dumping nails on the trail.
I think a lot of them have been picked up over the past week or so...but if you scuff the ground with your foot, sometimes you'll see a few more that you couldn't see a second ago...so keep an eye out and when you stop anywhere...scuff around and have a look OK?

Also, just for your info....I've moved the wood gap jump off to the side till I can get back up there and do the launch a little wider and use 2x4 tops, aswell as put smoothing touches after the tranny.
That gap was VERY easy to clear btw...for those of you that have looked at it but not tried it...I might have to make the gap a little longer aswell:cool: .....you hit the drop, don't use your brakes(why would you use brakes?:lol: )...and let'er sail.
I'll fix it up soon:)

Rode there last night, didn't find any nails.... I rode the first couple runs fairly slow and checked out the trail. I seriously wish ppl didn't tear down the fence.... should have just gone around it. Now, it's a vandalism issue.

PPl better smarten up, or there won't be a ROSE HILL to ride in the spring.

We talked to a guy up there WHO OWNS THE FENCE.
He basically said he'd turn a blind eye to our riding, so LONG AS WE LEFT HIS FENCE ALONE.

Jesus CHRIST people, you can go down the road for 50 feet, and hike up a small hill to get the trail, which takes 1 minute extra of your time. What the fuck! Oh man, that pisses me off so much.

I keep forgetting to call the Lawyer....but hopefully he can hook me up with the Owner....if things are kinda like what you indicated to me Chris, I'll be asking if he'd let us build him a SOLID fence/gate right there that will stand up to dumbass's climbing on it:rolleyes:.....I can't really think of a good reason why he's insisting on putting a fence there now if it's not to strictly enforce no trespassing...but whatever will keep him happy:)

Well he doesn't like people riding the trails, and the other people up there don't want us there at all. But he figures that if the fence is there, and people are going to ride the trail anyways, why do they have to break the fence when they can go 50 feet down the damn road and walk up.
